Hold it like a club

Both hands. The screen is the clubface, top edge pointing down at the floor. A case with a strap helps.

Putting · let it hang still

No thumbs on the screen, screen facing away from you. Hold the phone still until you feel a tick: that means it's ready. Keep your head down, make your stroke, then raise the phone to watch it roll.

Driving · two thumbs on the glass

Both thumbs on the screen are your grip. Keep them there through the whole swing: let go and nothing counts. Head down, swing, then raise the phone to watch it fly.

My shot didn't count

Putting: wait for the tick before you stroke. Driving: keep both thumbs on the glass. Either way, a full, smooth swing works better than a flick.

I'm left-handed

Pick LEFT the first time you tap PLAY or PUTT. To change it later, press and hold the Carpet Cup name on the home screen.
